Welcome to the Europe and Africa section of the
IW&FS
The European & African Committee is one of the three Area Committees that provide governance for the International Wine & Food
Society. The European & African Committee (EAC) relates to all branches in Europe and Africa.
The EAC supports the development of branches
within its Region, sponsors Regional events, encourages the exchange of ideas
and event programmes between branches, and approves awards for special members
and memorable occasions. It negotiates preferential rates for services related
to wine, food and accommodation, and provides a quarterly newsletter to its
members.

Members of the EAC provide resources and support to the William Heptinstall
Memorial Fund. This is a registered charity that each year provides a grant to
a young chef to further their careers through overseas stages.
