Forming a New Branch in the Asian-Pacific Zone

Membership
Your Turn

The IW&FS encourages the formation of new branches in the APZ.  If you have a genuine, enthusiastic interest in fine wine and food and if you enjoy sharing culinary experiences with a group of like-minded friends, you may be the type of dynamic individual who could form a new branch of the IW&FS in your community.

The benefits of membership include:

  • convivial companionship of people who share an interest in wine and food

  • opportunities to learn about wines and foods of the world

  • access through IW&FS publications to ideas for events

  • chances to open doors and build relationships at wineries and restaurants

  • admittance to IW&FS festivals around the world

  • insider travel information from contacts in existing branches

  • the ability to stay at the Lansdowne Club when visiting London

Please be forewarned.  Forming a new branch takes considerable time and effort, but the results can be rewarding and educational.  If you are interested and are willing to put in the effort, here are some items you need to consider:

  • new branches must be open to both male and female members

  • new branches must have at least 10 members

  • annual dues are charged by the Society

  • permission to form new branches is at the sole and absolute discretion of the Asian-Pacific Zone Committee

Information regarding branch formation is available upon request to the following email address: apz@iwfs.com
